It has been a great week for the weather but this first post is all about football supporters. There were 100,000 Glasgow Rangers supporters expected in Manchester today for the final of the Uefa Cup. It was not long befor e they worked out that there are not that many places to stay overnight in Manchester. So thousands of supporters have stopped in Blackpool for a couple of nights making a day trip from here to manchester for the night.

I hope they all get there safely, have a good time regardless of the result and get back safe.

The problem is nobody seems to have told the train services. below are pictures of the queues at the station that went on most of the day.
